The trees shed their leaves to wave a farewell
Barren branches and whispering wind, another story to tell
Flying south’s the bird’s mission
Halloween’s our tradition
Autumnal magic casts a wondrous spell
A storm is brewing in the distance
Seasonal change comes with persistence
The whole forest is in motion
Smell nature’s potent potion
Autumn arrives without resistance
Hedgehogs overeat – to prepare
For hibernation, as does the bear
Fallen leaves on the ground
Frozen grass makes a crunchy sound
They all get comfy and eat pears
Autumn brings a bitter weather
It seems it’ll last forever?
It grows cold outside
But warmer inside
As families snuggle together
Caress the tree bark carefully, don’t get a splinter
Halloween’s what you’re into,
You tore off the leaves,
To craft an ‘autumn wreath’
But the leaves never grew back on the trees after winter
